Vischgat Lodge
Years ago, a Scottish surveyor travelled through the area and stopped for a well-deserved meal on the banks of the Kuruman river, here he dug a hole in the river’s shallow water where he started catching fish -in honour of his brave travels and the ground that the game lodge is situated on, it was proudly called Vischgat Lodge.

The Vischgat Chalets have bathrooms fully equipped with roof fans, bedding, towels, soap, and shampoo. The chalets include a full cleaning service, entirely self-catering with a full kitchen, stove, microwave oven, deep freezer, fridge, cutlery and crockery. The bar is stocked with glasses and free ice. There is also a swimming pool and braai facilities available.

The Vischgat Rondavel is a big rondavel that can accommodate eight people sharing and is very private. The rondavel’s bathroom is fully equipped with roof fans, bedding, towels, soap, and shampoo.
